BLUE LACE AGATE

The dazzling ice blue waves of blue lace agate are extremely captivating and hard to miss. This stone is a banded chalcedony, a mineral in quartz family with a hardness of 6.5 to 7. Like many other crystals this stone is a product of silicon dioxide (SiO2) yet it derives from Namibia, Africa and can be found in smaller amounts in the USA, China, India and Brazil.
